What I'd like to say to others considering religious vocation
God is so simple! We are the complicated ones but everything from God is in freedom and love. Christ will never force Himself upon us. His love is so gentle and He thirsts for our trust in Him!
My Vocation Story
Before meeting the consecrated women of Totus Tuus, I did not know that faith could be alive and personal. I used to think God was this big thing in the sky who did not know or see me. Learning to pray changed everything! I learned how much freedom I have with Christ and how joyful Mary is about my union with her Son. I asked for the grace of a deeper sense of God's presence in my life and then Christ told me that He would follow me wherever I go. I was quite surprised to find out that the Son of Man allows me to hold all of the cards! The Blessed Mother helped me to realize what this prayer meant. I was not entirely sure what a calling was and it was 2018 after all... did God still go around doing that? Looking back, I now know that Christ was giving me total freedom to fall in love with Him. Mary gave me the courage to give Him everything in my openness to consecrated life because she reminds me daily that I lack nothing. With each step forward in discernment, I felt like a better version of myself.
